Run The Block is a parkour game which takes place in 'Rec City' built around completing challenges and upgrading your abilities.
Run The Block was built with creation tools available to players, including Rooms 2.0, Circuits V2 and Rec Room Studio; this allows it to be fully copyable. Players are free to copy the room, modify the circuits with the Maker Pen and edit the map with Rec Room Studio. Rec Room have released Unity Asset Pack containing assets from the Rec Room Original which can be used in any Rec Room Studio project.[1]
Early Demo[]
Early Version of the in-game city.
On August 8th 2024[2] Rec Room staff released an official demo of the game; mainly intended to gather player feedback about the game before the official release. It featured an early versions of in game assets, including early designs for the Runner Journal and a smaller (work in progress) city.
