Orientation is the tutorial for new Rec Room players and serves as an introductory tour into what Rec Room has to offer. Orientation teaches players about Rec Room Originals, Controls and the Maker Pen. It takes place in the 'Welcome Center' on the campus map.
During Orientation, your watch is disabled and the only menu available to you is a limited version of the settings menu. This limited settings menu is shown to you during the introductory part of the tutorial and can later be opened using your platform's menu button. At the end of the tutorial you are granted a package from Coach which contains your watch, allowing you to exit the tutorial.
Upon completion of Orientation during the original release you were granted keys to your Dorm Room and prompted to check it out through at the door to your side. Once in your dorm room you were then granted the package containing your watch.
