Upon starting up rec room (from Oculus) a menu pops up to choose my account, and if I, say, hit the button with my finger in VR, I will get haptic feedback (Vibration) on that controller, but then when I load into my dorm, If I look at my watch my opposite controller doesn't get haptic feedback. A workaround I have for this is if I grab anything with the opposite hand that I touched the login menu (like a bow or my maker pen), I will get haptic feed back in that controller. This is kind of just a little annoying bug that I can work around my grabbing over my shoulder just as I log in to rec room. The other way to work around this bug is to point at the login menu and press the trigger to login rather than physically move my hand to press the button. Now the opposite will happen, (eg: if I grab my maker pen I don't get haptic feedback in that hand but if I look at my watch and do stuff on that I do).
(I am not completely sure if this is just a bug on oculus's part or the devs at AG, but I haven't noticed this in any other games) Sometimes, seemingly randomly, the audio will flip in my headset (hearing stuff on the right from my left headphone and vice versa). I haven't seen too terribly much of a pattern for this, although it seems like it is mainly happen when I stay in one room for too long, it is usually in some sort of quest, and it is usually when I play said quest multiple times (but these doesn't apply all the time).
The second one isn't nearly as specific, but is much more annoying (Restarting your game from your dorm is a lot easier than having to reset it in a quest, and, if soloing, lose your progress in said quest.) given that it isn't just distracting, but also is like giving you false info. Anyway, sorry for writing this at 2am, and I hope you could read through all of the parenthesis...
Our leader has left so I'm taking charge for now but, I don't have much know how when it comes to the maker pen. Some tips would really help. Some information about the clan we are a fantasy type so, tips on like how to make trees and weapons.we are taking requests for new builers to so message me on my rec account The_neko[DAWN] I'm on almost every day. Bye for now!
I have found 3 today
Rec room is the definition of He took the timbs
So lately I've played ALOT of disc golf, and towards the start I got 4 cosmetic items (All of the yellow/brown set and the chest of the grey set), remember that was in the first 10-15 games I got those... Now I've played 75+ more rounds (Told you I played alot) and I haven't gotten any other pieces of the sets since those first rounds. I understand it's all up to chance if I get them or not but it's starting to seem like the chance of getting one decreases the more I play. Which really sucks since I really wanted the blue/black set.... I've been getting -6 to 3 over par each round so I highly doubt it has anything to do with how good you do in said round.
Does anyone know if I'm just unlucky or if the chances decrease of getting a set piece the more you play? Maybe it's since I can't get more then 3-4 items in a small amount of time... Because it's only been 48 hours since getting the cosmetic sets
Are we going to be getting new quests? I’m sort of new and just want new ones to play because i think they’re the most fun, do they consistently add new quests or does the game not get any more updates?
Unless if I use push to talk, my mic doesn't work aside from a short period after turning it on in settings. I tested my mic, and it showed that it was picking up audio, so I'm using PTT for now. My mic is set default to the one im using and all, it just won't pick up anything after a short while.
Also, if it affects anything, I'm using the Oculus Rift, not the Rift S or Quest. I'm also playing through SteamVR.
When i select account game is loading and then i see error : "Failed connect to RecNet notifications ".
Pls help : >
So a few times when I get on rec room. My mic is either deafly quiet or completely off. So I go into settings and see that my mic is on and the bar shows up with no activity. So I go into PlayStation party audio test and my mic is working there. So after o few times of completely shutting down my console it works. DOES ANYONE KNOW AN EASIER WAY TO FIX THIS?!
I have emailed their support team and they said to go into the audio tab to mute myself and others but i have without any of those options showing up. I play on PSVR but i can't play if im hearing other players. Going into a party doesn't even mute other players.
I received a brown quiver from GoldenTrophy, and I had received S rank.
Is this a bug or is it random with the colors for a quiver.
I'd like to reorganize the Circuit Diagrams page to make it more useful to very new circuit users. I propose organizing it into four headings:
* Essential Circuits
* Common Circuits
* Generally Useful Circuits
* Specific Examples of Circuits
With a description at the top like this:
"This page is organized by how frequently a circuit is useful. Players new to circuits should start learning at the top of the page, and continue on to learn circuits farther down the list as they become comfortable."
"Essential" means simple circuits that everybody uses all the time (or would, if they knew about them). Examples are the "Increment" ring + combinator, the "Send Value" Advance ≠ Comparer, the RS Latch, Toggle, RNG Store, and Boolean Conversion.
"Common" means simple and very basic in function but not used very frequently just because of the typical applications that appear or don't appear in Rec Room. Examples are Absolute Value and Logical Plus/Minus.
"Generally Useful" means circuits that are not very simple but are still frequently useful. Examples are High Score, Cooldown Button, Multiplexer.
"Specific Examples" are circuits that probably aren't useful to anybody in particular, but they are useful to explain to the reader as a way of testing and applying their understanding without being in-game.
There are a couple of pages that might be useful to have:
- Junior accounts (currently links to the happy fox article)
- Tokens (currently links either to the Store Menu or the Packages page)
- Object Tags (currently links to Configure mode of the Maker Pen)
- Inventions (links to the Inventions tab of the Palette)
A page about Junior accounts might be most useful to avoid the need to update the link whenever the URL of the happy fox article changes.
Are there other reasons for or against new pages about these topics? Are there are other topics that should have their own page?
